Daegu
Daegu preserves old urban culture through its modern alleyways and Seomun Market, while Palgongsan and Apsan mountains embrace the city, allowing you to enjoy both urban exploration and mountain hiking together. Walking courses through interconnected alleyways such as Kim Gwang-seok Streets and Cheongna Slopes are well-maintained, making the city ideal for walking tours. Due to its basin topography, summers are hot and winters are dry.
Starting a modern alleyway tour around Banwoldang and Jungangno stations creates a natural flow. Seomun Market's night market operates in the evening, making it good to include at the end of your itinerary. Climbing Palgongsan by cable car allows you to enjoy the views without physical strain. During hot summer afternoons, it is better to reduce outdoor activities and focus on indoor programs.
